MacNabb Clan Grave Sites

This print from the late 1800's shows a sitting clansman holding a basket-hilt sword, most likely a MacNab. The Chiefs burial enclosure is not within the forest that we see today if visited, there is a lot more trees and not as open now.

The Gate

Francis MacNab of Macnab born 1733, died May 25th 1846.

Entrance

This is the entrance to the island that leads to a forest path. It is but a short walk to the enclosure where clan members will find the graves of the chiefs.
